Average harvest: mid to late September
Characteristics: medium to large size, red with dappled yellow background, explosively crisp and juicy, well balanced flavor with flesh that is slow to brown.
Best for: fresh eating, and lots of it!!
Storage life: September to April. The Honeycrisp maintains it’s characteristic crispness for 6-7 months after harvest.
